The RustWeek 2026 unconference is an invite-only event for maintainers and contributors of selected communities. The unconf is held from Thu May 21 to Sat May 23, in parallel to the Rust All Hands.
The goal of the unconference is to facilitate communities to work together in-person, including cross-collaboration with other groups and with members of Rust project teams.
The unconf is part of RustWeek 2026, held in Utrecht, The Netherlands from May 18 - 23.
Joining an unconf group
The unconf is an invite-only event and invitations are handled by the community leaders, not by the RustWeek organization. Are you a maintainer, contributor to one of the communities, or eager to start contributing? Contact your community leader(s) via the community’s channels and request to join.
NOTE: All information on this page is for invited participants of the unconf. If you are not invited by one of the unconf groups, please check out the homepage for all RustWeek events.

Co-located Rust All Hands
At the same venue, in the other wing of the same buliding, there will be a parallel event: the Rust All Hands. Collaboration is encouraged! Feel free to invite Rust project members to your sessions. If you want to join any of the sessions of the Rust All-Hands, or if you want to organize joint sessions, ask Mara, via Zulip or mara@rustnl.org. She coordinates the Rust All-Hands.
